KOCE-TV Field Trip

Today the Technology I class visited KOCE-TV.

We met after school and took a luxury tour bus (with chocolate cupcakes & water for a snack!) to Goldenwest College for a tour of the studio and to watch the filming of "The Real Orange" news program!

All students had a wonderful time touring the studio and observing the activities at a real-life television studio. The students were able to see how a daily news program is prepared, then they were able to attend a live filming! After the filming, the students were able to take photos with and receive autographs from the hosts of "The Real Orange," Ann Pulice and Ed Arnold.

On the way home, everyone was treated to dinner at Taco Bell paid for by the fundraising efforts of the FBLA Club through their hard work operating the daily lunch cart.

All students wrote essays about their experience and thank you letters to the staff of KOCE-TV.
