Autism is a neurological disorder which affects a person's social interaction and ability to communicate with others. It affects 1-2 people in every 1000. Over the years, there has been a great deal of research to help us understand this complex disorder.

This scientist, Dr. Temple Grandin, has autism. In this video, she explains her experience growing up autistic, how her autism impacts the way she interacts with the rest of the world, and her belief that "the world needs all kinds of minds!"
